Your first day on Sota7
Everything the landing pod does not explain: what to gather, which meters matter, and when to walk home.
Goal: a working resource loop around the pod
Push out along the waterways near the landing pod. First trip: Sunbeam Lumus fruit for thirst and Sweet Tarax for food, plus titanium for tools. The Valley is classified low risk — but "low risk" still contains the Scorchweaver.

The pod is your first sealed shelter
Nothing drains inside the pod — treat it as home until the first real base stands. Check the mirror for the five hairstyles, read the journal, and remember the fabricator holds finished items until you take them out by hand.
- Open the journal and pin the current objective
- Grab the analyzer when the quest asks — it is easy to miss
- Circle the pod once to mark water and plants nearby
- Save manually before long outings
Scanner first, then the cutters
The scanner feeds your research notes and blueprint database — scan every new plant, creature and ore node once. The chisel is for minerals, the pruners are for plants. Everything else waits for a base.
- Scan immature plants to see their regrow timer
- Take titanium home before decorative finds
- Process flowers into seeds before they rot
- Let wildlife wander off instead of chasing scans
First-trip gathering list

| Sweet Tarax | Open spaces across the Valley | Food — fibrous stems for textiles | S |
| Titanium | Ore nodes | Early tools (chisel, pruners) | A |
| Magnetite | Ore nodes | Drone Builder component chain | A |
| Strider horns | Shed around strider nests | Fertilizer (later) | B |
The four meters that matter
Readings below are illustrative. Sota7 is gentler than most survival games, but any meter hitting its floor costs you efficiency — or consciousness.
Building Minion: craft it, retrieve it, press B
The Building Minion quest walks you into construction. Craft the Drone Builder, take it out of the machine, equip it and press B to open the build menu. Rooms only run inside both water and power coverage.
- Pin blueprint materials with Q while gathering
- Use planning mode: place the hologram, let drones build
- Craft from storage indoors; outside is hands-only
- Keep solar panels clear of tree canopies
Dark, quiet, and easy to fall off things
Nights are properly dark and cliffs do not care. Once a base bed exists, sleep skips to morning. Until then, keep sorties short, watch stamina, and head home before dusk rather than after.
- Turn back before dusk, not after
- Low stamina risks a knockout — and a dropped bag
- Store organics indoors; the decay clock keeps ticking
- Leave caves and ruins for daylight
Head home the moment you see these
Cozy game, real consequences — especially before your first base is sealed.
Immunity falling
Sota7's atmosphere drains Immunity outdoors. Return to a sealed interior or equip an Immunity Pump.
Stamina bottoming out
Rest by standing still; real sleep needs a bed at base. A knockout drops your inventory where you fell.
Over 50 kg
Over-encumbered Hennessy stops moving entirely. Drop the ore, keep the food.
Hostile wildlife near a nest
No weapons exist. Detour, feed a snack, or come back with the tranquilizer injector.
